Marina Hanson Welcome to my art world!

Passion for beauty and creativity has always defined me, and led me to earn a PHD in Architecture and, later, a Degree in Interior Design.

I began painting as a way to escape and cope with personal trauma, and have been painting ever since. Today, it's evident that the world of Art holds a permanent and significant position in my existence. To say I enjoy painting is an understatement. I'm obsessed with painting! Painting relaxes me and gives me unique moments of freedom and happiness. In my paintings, I let my imagination run wild. By capturing on canvas my deepest thoughts and feelings, I'm not only able to express myself, but also allow others to connect with me.

Most of my work is categorized as surrealism, sometimes abstract, but the constant elements in my paintings are the vibrancy of the colors and vivid contrasts. I'm fascinated by the explosive sensuality of the rich and luxurious chromatics, and rely on my desires for beauty, poetics, and seduction.

My art is an evolving process; my artistic affinity and dynamic imagination have been refining with each day.I enjoy trying different techniques and styles, and ultimately hope the viewers and art collectors could see my artwork the way I intent it to be - emotional and passionate.
